In the Athens Concert Hall foyer Οper(O) performed a 20’ show aimed at children based on the children’s chorus
“Avec la garde montante” from G. Bizet’s Carmen. In a similar mood, the children imitate and mock the soldiers. In Carmen, Οper(O) turned opera into a game,
a party, inviting all spectators to join in.

From every corner of the hall people started gathering up and a different show started.
One could see excitement on the faces of both the young and the old present […]The straightforwardness of opera won over those present and became more accessible, more real.
Art won and its revolutionary essence shone in all its glory.
